It’s time to share our story with the world … and you have main character energy. You’ll learn five keys to telling the sorority/fraternity story and marketing your sisterhood/brotherhood in ways that will build your personal brand and the brand of sororities and fraternities on your campus and beyond.

Did you know that only 1 in 11 freshmen know they want to join a fraternity/sorority? 91% are “maybe joiners,” and it’s our job to show them what sororities and fraternities have to offer! In this session, you’ll build out a campaign prior to your community’s big recruitment period, learning how to leverage your members and their stories and create eye-catching content that bring in new members.

Did you know that 4 out of every 10 Panhellenic sorority members consider leaving their organizations? Knowing the realities behind what keeps members connected – to each other and your sisterhood – will help you retain them throughout college. We’ll share insights from recent sorority retention research on their motivators and barriers, and you’ll walk away with strategies to better support and retain members.
Saturday 10:45-11:45 AM - White River Ballroom J What Do High School Women Really Think About Sororities & What Can We Do About It?
When only 1 in 4 high school women are interested in joining sororities, we have work to do to reach and resonate with them. We’ll explore the four distinct personas of women coming to college today – their personalities, perceptions, dreams, fears, habits, behaviors, wants and needs – and how to market to each of them, focusing on those unique to your campus. You’ll dive into what matters most when marketing to the women on YOUR campus and leave with a playbook of ideas to take home and integrate into your marketing efforts!
