Thursday 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM - Grand Ballroom Opening Session: Before the Headlines: Leadership, Purpose and the Standard You Set
Before the Headline challenges student leaders to examine how purpose, silence, and daily standards shape organizational culture long before consequences appear. In an era of heightened visibility and instant accountability, leadership is no longer defined by titles but by consistent choices made behind the scenes.
Drawing from collegiate football, leadership development, and campus life, this session reframes risk and harm as outcomes of unclear purpose, unaddressed silence, and inconsistent standards rather than isolated incidents. Participants will explore how culture is formed through what leaders prioritize, tolerate, and correct in everyday moments.
Attendees will gain practical tools to lead proactively, interrupt silence early, and reinforce standards through intentional actions that protect people, strengthen organizations, and uphold values before the headline.
Saturday - 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM - Kennesaw Removing the Mask: Where Do We Go From Here
Culturally based fraternal organizations carry a legacy rooted in leadership, service, and community impact. Membership intake represents one of the most important moments in sustaining that legacy. This session invites participants to examine how intentional membership intake, organizational branding, and values-based leadership shape both chapter culture and public perception. Through guided reflection and conversation, attendees will consider their responsibility as members to protect their organization’s reputation while building strong, accountable chapters. Participants will leave with practical strategies for strengthening membership engagement, reinforcing organizational pride, and leading with integrity on campus and in the community.
