Thursday 8:45-10:00 PM - 309/310 More Than Membership: Belonging in Action
The fraternity/sorority experience should be more than membership — it should be a source of mattering, connection, and inclusion. Belonging directly impacts student well-being, persistence, and engagement, yet too many members report feeling excluded or unseen in their chapters. This program explores the critical role belonging plays in shaping healthy organizations, reducing isolation, and fostering equity. Participants will learn how to create chapter cultures where every member feels valued, included, and supported, making fraternity/sorority life a true community of care.
Friday 10:45-11:45 AM - 313 Fraternity & Sorority as Your First Internship
The fraternity/sorority experience should be more than planning events and attending socials — it must serve as a transformative process where students clarify their thinking, build confidence, and develop essential skills for life beyond college. Let's reframes the fraternity/sorority journey as a laboratory for learning: a space where leadership, collaboration, and real-world skills are intentionally cultivated and supported. We Will explore how everyday chapter responsibilities — from budgeting and time management to leading peers and resolving conflict — can translate into professional competencies that employers seek.
Friday 4:00-5:15 PM - White River Ballroom H Revitalizing Sisterhood: Boost Engagement, Involvement, and Connection
Sisterhood is at the heart of the sorority experience, yet many chapters struggle with disengagement, low involvement, and members who feel disconnected. This program offers a fresh approach to revitalizing sisterhood by focusing on strategies that foster authentic connection, inclusive engagement, and meaningful involvement. Participants will explore practical ways to rebuild energy within their chapters, create spaces where all members feel valued, and strengthen the bonds that make sorority membership a lifelong commitment.
